7 Tough Stains Remove from Clothes
Stains on clothes are common. Some stains come out easily, while others are hard. Here are simple methods to remove tough stains from clothes.
1. Blood Stains
If you remove the blood stain immediately it can be removed easily, if stain is old soak it in cold water and add a little salt leave it for 30 minute. Gently rub and wash.
2. Oil Stains
Put baking soda or cornflour on the stain. Leave it for 20 minutes. Brush it of, then wash the cloth with dishwashing liquid.
3. Tea and Coffee Stains
For old tea or coffee stains, soak cloth in baking soda and water mixer then wash. For fresh stains, use detergent or dish soap then softly rub.
4. Food and Curry stains
Apply vinegar and lemon juice on food stains is best and effective way to remove stains. Wash the curry stain with cold water first. Then apply lemon juice or white vinegar to remove yellow mark.
5. Ink Stains
Apply spirit or hand sanitizer to remove ink , as spirit helps to remove ink stains. Dab gently with cotton.When the ink fades, wash the clothes.
6. Sweat Stains
Make the paste of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and water. Apply this paste on the stain area and leave this paste on stain for 30 minutes then wash with normal detergent.
7. Chocolate Stains
Rinse the chocolate with cold water, then wash with regular detergent.
Tip
Don't wash cloth with hot water to remove stain. Don't remove stain with hot water. Check the fabric label before cleaning. Wash fresh stains quickly for best result. Before applying any method test on a hidden area.
